“Sacred Spiral & Middle Earth”
Journey: It’s been a lifetime of learning and growth… and one so interesting. When I was a baby, my sister, who was only a toddler herself, got very sick and grew up with the challenges that were the result of that illness. This meant, as a family, the dynamic changed from what it “could” have been and I, as an infant child, began my journey as a protector and caregiver. It was because of her challenges that I have seen first hand the darker nature of human kind. I made the choice at an early age not to feel vindictive towards those who felt this deep need to “hurt” others but instead have compassion toward them. I learned that cruelty toward others was a reflection of how deep the person who was being cruel was suffering was within their own being. Of course, when one spends a lifetime giving, we are offered the opportunity to receive and sometimes not in a way we would prefer. For me that opportunity came through sensitivity to “poisons” in my environment molds, cleaners, foods, and so much more created a toxic prison in which it seemed I could not escape. The traditional ‘system’ was not of any help so I spent my time researching and turned to alternative methods, both in health care and home care. In searching out what was right and helpful for me, I encountered many challenges as well as judgments from those who were supposed to love and help me, and I realized just how “different” I am. Despite all of the chaos that surrounded me I always found comfort with nature and with animals. To this day this is still where I continue to connect and learn the most. Nature, in all its forms, speaks to me… and I, listen. What I learned is that when I trust my intuition (my nature), I am the one who KNOWS what is right and helpful to me so I follow where I am led and have created amazing healing in my own life as well assisting others to do the same in theirs.
Growth: I am so grateful for all blessings as well as adversity in my life because the culmination of both has brought me to where I am. I now embrace my differences for that is what makes me unique. Perspective is one of my favorite words, for it is how we perceive what goes on around us and what we do with it that takes us where we need to be. It is from that place that we learn the most about ourselves. Even in the face of adversity, it’s our perspective that leads us home to grace. It creates the world we live in, so instead of running away from issues, when we face them with love and understanding, healing can happen.
Service: My work as well as the gifts I have been blessed with has lead me to many modalities, including Acutonics, Sound Therapy, Bio-Energetic Therapy, Reiki, Essential Oils, Crystals, Art & Design and a variety of other energy work modalities. I use them all in assisting those who come to me either as a client or a student. Although, I teach all these modalities and more, I am blessed to be one of only 3 people in Canada certified to teach Acutonics. I love to assist those who come to me to see how we can make their life and journey a much kinder one. Life is full of endless possibilities… Let’s see what yours has in store for you!
