JOURNEY: Reflecting on the journey of my life, it all falls into place now that I have embraced my role as an energy healer. It began with a dream that sparked something within me. From a young age, I felt a deep connection to natural healing practices, the mystical realm, and astrology. It wasn't until I embarked on my Reiki journey that I discovered I was an empath, carrying the emotional burdens of my past. Through Reiki, I unraveled the significance of the recurring dreams of bears that had haunted my childhood. Little did I know, these dreams held profound messages in the psychic realm. Living in the Pacific Northwest Coast of British Columbia for a period was pivotal in my spiritual awakening. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, hiking through the majestic mountains, and sailing on the vast ocean, I witnessed wonders that few encounter in a lifetime. It was there that I encountered the elusive white Kermode (Ker Moh Dee) Bear, also known as the "white spirit bear." Through meditative practices, I discovered that my spirit animal is the bear, guiding me with traits of courage, confidence, leadership, wisdom, and knowledge. All the threads of my past experiences, travels, and encounters are weaving together, illuminating my path as an energy healer. At last, I have unearthed my true, authentic self.
GROWTH: In a moment of clarity after a dream, the seed of my Reiki journey was planted. Unfamiliar with Reiki and unaware of my latent abilities, I felt a compelling urge to explore this path. Trusting my instincts, I enrolled in a Reiki Level 1 course at Nirvana 101 in Medicine Hat, Alberta. This marked the beginning of my deep dive into various energy healing modalities. I pursued courses, read books, and engaged meditation and mediumship groups. Today, I proudly hold certifications as a Body Code & Emotion Code Practitioner, as well as a Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master, and Holy Fire III Reiki Master. I firmly believe that practices such as Body Code, Emotion Code and Reiki, alongside other healing modalities, hold the key to empowering individuals to reclaim control over their health. Often, we prioritize the needs of others over our own well-being, a pattern I was once caught in myself.
