“ATAM” - Action Taken Allowances Made
Journey: I grew up in the Medicine Hat area and due to the influence of family and society I learned early on that I needed to “work hard to get anywhere”. I always had an entrepreneurial spirit and although I have worked for other people, I found the most gratification in working for myself. Over the past 30 years I have owned a number of businesses, each bringing a measure of purpose and success into my life, all of which have played a part in guiding me to where I am today in my life. The Universe was always trying to nudge me to do the real work that fed my soul. I came to realize that what brought me the most fulfillment was being in service to others; that the common thread in my life was that I found, no matter where I went, I ended up “listening” to people’s stories and talking to them in a way that they discovered what they were doing to create the situations in their lives. I came to understand that part of the work I was meant to do was help others on their path to self-discovery.
Growth: The modality that seems to call me is that of a Life Coach. It was a role I had been doing for most of my life and so I took the formal training. I felt this would give me more tools to use in service to clients. I took several courses that focused on growth, both personally and spiritually. I received both Life coach certification and Life Purpose certification. I truly believe, we have to address all aspects of our being to move forward; Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual. We can’t do one without the others. Our emotions (Emotion=Energy in Motion) are the best way to gauge where we are at in this moment, thus uncovering roadblocks to the path of where we desire to be. Then it is our responsibility to make choices, which will help us learn the lessons of the so-called roadblocks, remove them, and move forward.
Service: I offer transformational and intuitive guidance, helping people move forward in a positive way. The business name I chose is ATAM (Action Taken Allowances Made) because I have come to realize that through all the courses I have taken, (some resonated with me and some didn’t, yet I found value in all of them) one thing I have come to know for sure is that when a person “knows” they are responsible for their life they feel more empowered. This has been my experience and I am truly grateful for this awareness so if I believe I can’t, I am right and if I believe I can, I am right. It is always within my power to live the life I am meant to. It is always my choice, my responsibility for my response to what life gives me.
Just as I know I am 100% responsible for my life through the Actions I Take and the Allowances I Make, I am happy to show you this power in your life as well. There is no one solution for any one person.
