Journey: As a young child I remember exploring nature and the hidden realms and spirit that resides in it. I reveled in the unexplained coincidences and power behind the planet, the seasons and creatures and had a desire to connect with it. As I grew up, as most young people do, I detached from it and joined so many other men who had detached from it as well. Ignorance is bliss, the unseen was frightenly easy to look away from. The more I looked away the harder life became. It forced me to start pushing back toward what I knew as a child, I couldn’t look away any longer. I started changing and my world changed too. I learned how strong I was as the only way for me to grow was to move through the pain. The result being that I was awakening to the “stronger” me, no longer feeling I could meet societal standards of what a man “should” be but rather move toward what an inspired soul is.
Growth: As I began my search, I was introduced to the Natural Health & Healing Expo in Medicine Hat and started connecting with kindred spirits there and before I knew it, I had started attending other festivals and connecting with people, teachers, healers from many traditions including healers and shamans from both North and South America. It was through my interest in Natural Healing that I met my life partner, Vehlantra and together we committed to Shamanic training. We attempt to balance masculine and feminine energy when working together in a joint session. We work to release those long held internal walls structured from society and work with each individual to find the strength and balance of both masculine and feminine within them to help live a more fulfilling life.
Service: In our practice, you have the choice to work with one of us individually or, for best results, to work with both of us. I specialize in Men’s work, while Vehlantra specializes in Women’s work and together we serve to unlock personal barriers to expansion of self and spirit through journeying, soul extraction and soul retrieval. Shamanism is practiced all over the world and our goal is to help you understand how connected we are to all that is. How powerful you are to heal yourself. As we heal ourselves we heal everything around us, and as we heal all around us, we heal ourselves. We look forward to taking you on a most amazing journey to the discovery of yourself!
